Writing Guidelines
Relevant Topic
Your article should clearly connect to at least one topic from our Topics We Love list. Whether it's a beginner's guide, a personal ride story, or a deep-dive into e-bike tech, relevance is key.
Original and Insightful
We only accept 100% original content that hasn't been published anywhere else.
Word Count
Articles should be between 1,000 and 3,000 words. This gives you enough space to dive into your topic while keeping readers engaged.
Tone and Style
Keep it friendly and natural—like you're talking to a fellow rider. Make sure even an 8th-grade student could understand your article without trouble.
Formatting
Use clear subheadings, bullet points, and short paragraphs. This helps readers stay focused and makes your content easier to enjoy on both desktop and mobile.
Images and Media
Feel free to include photos, infographics, or videos that support your content. Just make sure:
- You own the rights to use them
- There are no logos or ads from other brands
- Image format: WEBP, 16:9 ratio, under 500KB
How to Submit Your Articles
Step 1: Share Your Idea First
Before you start writing, send a quick email to info@leoguarbike.com with your article idea. Include a working title and a short description (2-3 sentences are enough) about what you plan to write. This helps us check if your topic fits our readers' interests and content direction.
Step 2: Start Writing
Once we approve your pitch, you're ready to write. Make sure to follow our Writing Guidelines and focus on providing clear, valuable content that speaks to fellow riders and curious readers alike.
Step 3: Send Us Your Draft
When your article is complete, email it to us along with:
- A short author bio (1-2 sentences)
- Any personal or social links you'd like us to include
- 2-5 relevant, high-quality images
- If you use data, quotes, or third-party references, properly cite your sources within the content.
Step 4: Editorial Review
Our team will review your submission and may suggest edits or request small changes. We usually respond within 48 hours.
Step 5: Publication
Once approved, your article will be scheduled for publishing. We'll let you know the expected go-live date and send you the link once it's online.
