The Zephyr ST beach cruiser eBike pairs a low step-through frame with swept-back handlebars and a cushioned saddle, making it easier to get on, stop, and settle into an upright riding position. It is a comfortable fit for neighborhood errands, paved bike paths, and relaxed coastal rides.

Power and Range, Clearly Explained

The rear hub motor is rated at 500W and can reach 750W of peak output for short bursts of extra help. The 720Wh battery uses LG cells, is certified to UL 2271, and offers up to 60 miles with pedal assist under favorable conditions. Assist level, throttle use, speed, hills, rider and cargo weight, wind, temperature, and tire pressure all affect real-world range; a full charge takes about five hours with the 3A charger.

Comfort and Control on Paved Routes

The 26 × 2.35-inch Schwalbe tires roll comfortably on city streets, bike paths, boardwalks, and firm coastal routes. A rigid steel fork keeps the front end simple, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors help you manage your speed. Slow down on wet pavement and loose or deep sand, where traction can change quickly.

Seven Colors, Your Everyday Setup

Choose from seven color options to match your style. The color display keeps ride information within view, while a rear rack and color-matched fenders are available separately if you want more carrying space or coverage.

Features

LED Headlight and Lockable Battery

The 48V LED headlight helps you see the road ahead and makes you more visible in low light. A rear light is optional and sold separately. The battery locks to the frame and can be removed for charging indoors.

Swept-Back Handlebars with Ergonomic Grips

The handlebars sweep back toward you, so you can sit upright without reaching far forward. Cruiser-style grips give your hands a comfortable place to rest on neighborhood rides or longer paved routes.

Ride Information at a Glance

Check your speed, battery level, and selected assist level on the 2.0-inch color display. A USB-C port lets you charge a compatible device, and the CANbus system supports communication between the bike's electronic components.

A Cushioned Cruiser Saddle

A wide saddle with soft foam supports a relaxed riding position. Paired with the suspension seatpost, it helps take the edge off everyday bumps on city streets and coastal paths. Adjust the saddle height before riding so you can pedal comfortably.

Shimano 7-Speed Gearing

Seven gears let you find a comfortable pedaling pace as the road changes. Shift to an easier gear for a climb or a higher gear on level ground, then choose a pedal-assist level to match your effort. The Shimano system uses a 12–32T cassette.

Tektro Hydraulic Disc Brakes

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm front and rear rotors provide controlled braking for everyday rides. The brake levers include motor cut-off sensors. Brake smoothly and leave extra stopping room on wet or sandy surfaces.

500W Rated Motor with 750W Peak Power

The rear hub motor is rated at 500W and can reach 750W of peak output. Both numbers describe the same motor: rated power is its continuous operating figure, while peak power is the higher short-duration output available when more help is needed. It also provides up to 60Nm of torque and works with a cadence sensor.

20 MPH Standard, Unlockable to 28 MPH

The Zephyr ST is set to a 20 mph assisted speed and can be unlocked to reach up to 28 mph where local rules allow. Choose from five pedal-assist levels or use the half-twist throttle. The advertised range is up to 60 miles with pedal assist; higher speeds, throttle use, hills, load, weather, and riding conditions can reduce it.

Wave-Pattern Chain Guard

The wave-pattern chain guard complements the cruiser frame and helps keep clothing away from the chain. It is a useful detail for everyday trips in regular clothes.

Be aware that the cruising range may differ based on the riding conditions.

It is made for relaxed rides on paved streets, bike paths, and firm coastal routes. The low step-through frame makes getting on and off easier, while swept-back handlebars, a cushioned saddle, and a suspension seatpost support an upright position. Use pedal assist when you want help with starts, hills, or a longer ride.

The recommended rider height is 5'3" to 6'5", and the maximum total payload is 275 lbs. That limit includes the rider and any cargo. Check the geometry chart, especially the 18.33-inch standover height and the saddle-height range, to judge your fit.

The main difference is the frame shape. The Zephyr ST has a low step-through frame for easier mounting and frequent stops, while the Zephyr SO uses a traditional step-over top tube. Their core motor, battery, speed, range, and braking specifications are otherwise the same, so choose the frame that feels more comfortable for your mobility and riding habits.

You can charge the battery while it is fitted to the bike, or unlock and remove it to charge indoors. Use the supplied 3A charger and allow about five hours for a full charge. Charging time depends on how much power remains in the battery.
