26 Inch Electric Bikes
Our 26 inch electric bikes share a 720Wh battery rated for up to 60 miles with pedal assist. The Fastron runs 4.0-inch fat tires and a 750W motor for gravel and trails. The Zephyr beach cruiser rolls on 2.35-inch tires with a 500W motor for streets and boardwalks. Both come in step-over and step-through frames.
Fat Tire vs Beach Cruiser
All four share a 720Wh battery, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and a 20 mph setting that unlocks to 28 mph where local rules allow. Each is certified to UL 2849, with a UL 2271 battery.

How to Choose a 26 Inch Electric Bike
Start with the surface. Gravel, packed trails and rough roads suit the Fastron's fat tires, while pavement and bike paths suit the lighter Zephyr.
Then pick the frame. A step-through (ST) frame lets you step in instead of swinging a leg over, so compare standover height with your inseam.
| Model | Frame | Standover height |
|---|---|---|
| Zephyr ST | Step-through | 18.33 in |
| Fastron ST | Step-through | 21.32 in |
| Fastron SO | Step-over | 26.65 in |
| Zephyr SO | Step-over | 27.06 in |
26 Inch E-Bike Range and Charging
Every bike here is rated for up to 60 miles with pedal assist. The tests below come from each product page, and hills, wind, cold, load and tire pressure all change them.
The battery locks to the frame and can be removed for indoor charging. A full charge takes about five hours.
| Test (top speed) | Fastron | Zephyr |
|---|---|---|
| Assist level 1 (8 mph) | 66.52 mi | 68.49 mi |
| Assist level 3 (14 mph) | 49.92 mi | 51.08 mi |
| Assist level 5 (20 mph) | 29.35 mi | 31.27 mi |
| Throttle only (20 mph) | 26.65 mi | 28.83 mi |
26 Inch vs 20 Inch Electric Bikes
A taller wheel meets cracks and potholes at a shallower angle, so it rolls over rough pavement more easily. Our 20-inch bikes are lighter and more compact, and the Flippo folds.
| Spec | 26-inch | 20-inch |
|---|---|---|
| Models | Fastron, Zephyr | Flippo, Sprint |
| Wheel diameter | 26.77 to 29.53 in | 20.08 to 21.65 in |
| Weight with battery | 58 to 70 lb | 55 lb |
| Folds | No | Flippo only |
26 Inch Electric Bike FAQs
Every bike on this page is recommended for riders 5'3" to 6'5". Within that range, standover and saddle height decide fit more than wheel size does.
At 5'2", you are just under the 5'3" minimum we recommend for these bikes, so check fit before you order. Start with the Zephyr ST: 18.33 in standover and a 33.07 in minimum saddle height.
Yes. Every bike here is a full-size adult e-bike, rated for 275 to 300 lb of rider plus cargo.
On gravel, packed trails and rough pavement, a 4.0-inch tire adds grip and cushioning. On smooth pavement it adds weight and rolling resistance, so a 2.35-inch cruiser tire like the Zephyr's rolls easier.
