    How Fast Is a 750W Electric Bike

    We publish 750W as the rated figure — the power the motor holds continuously. Plenty of listings quote a "peak" number that is 50–100% higher and print that on the poster instead. A peak watt you can hold for three seconds does not climb a half-mile hill. So compare rated watts to rated watts, and then look at torque.

    Torque is why the Fastron climbs. At 85Nm it pulls a 300 lb loaded weight up a grade where a 500W bike stalls. Expect roughly 12–14 mph on a real hill with a rider aboard — slower than flat ground, but it keeps moving instead of asking you to pedal it home.

    How to Choose a 750W Electric Bikes

    Rated watts, not peak— 750W should be the continuous rating. If a listing leads with a bigger "peak" number, ask what the rated figure is. We print 750W because that is the number the motor holds all day.

    Torque in Nm — This is your real climbing and hauling spec. The Fastron's 85Nm is what moves a 300 lb load up a grade; two bikes at 750W can climb very differently depending on this number.

    The speed cap and your local law— The Fastron ships at 20 mph and unlocks to 28 mph. 20 mph is Class 2 speed; 28 mph is Class 3 speed. Some bike paths allow one and not the other — check your city before you unlock it.
