Leoguar Returns as a Sponsor of the 2026 Fort Bend DA Bike Ride for Survivors
On October 10, 2026, Leoguar Bikes once again appeared at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, Texas, as a sponsor of the 6th Annual Fort Bend DA Bike Ride for Survivors. Having taken part in the event in 2025, the company once more joined the Fort Bend community in order to support the event which benefits survivors of violent crime and local youth programs.
This year Leoguar provided sponsorship for the ride involving the electric bike and joined the Fort Bend community in supporting survivors and local young people.
The fact that we were able to return meant that we could keep up a relationship that is important to our team. Since we are a cycling brand, we value events at which our work can make a contribution to something that is close to home, and this annual ride provided us with a clear reason to come back.

A Ride for Survivors, A Community United
The Fort Bend district attorney's bike ride for survivors takes place every year and is a community fundraising event for various nonprofit organizations that serve survivors of violent crime and young people in Fort Bend County.

The event, which was organised by the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office and the Expose Excellence Youth Foundation, was the sixth one held and offered cycling as well as family activities at Brazos River Park. The format was such that it accepted experienced cyclists, recreational riders and those who wanted to take part without having to ride a bike.
The wide invitation is an essential element of a community fundraising event since people have the opportunity to take part in supporting the same cause in different ways; the longer cycling route presents a personal challenge, the shorter ride is another possibility, and other activities available aside from cycling allow for more families and supporters.
For Leoguar, having a local focus was at the heart of our involvement. We were backing an event which had a clear aim and was based on the various organizations and programs that serve the local community.
Three Cycling Routes, One Shared Cause
As part of the 2026 Bike Ride for Survivors there were three cycling distances and also a family-friendly Color Run / Fun Run.

The Colour Run was held in the 'Bowl' section of Brazos River Park, and food and activities were also included as part of the event.
A Family-Friendly Color Run Extended the Invitation
The event also had a family-friendly Color Run for those who preferred to take part on foot.
The fact that this addition was made meant that there were more ways in which a household or a group could take part, since it was not necessary for everyone to own a bike or prepare for a long ride in order to support a cycling fundraiser.
For a local event, that flexibility is important since it enables the cause to get people involved from all different areas of interest and with varying levels of experience. Cycling was a major feature of the day, the Color Run providing the wider community with another link.
How the Ride Supports Survivors and Young People
The money raised as a result of the Bike Ride for Survivors goes to various nonprofit organizations that serve victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes, as well as to youth programs in Fort Bend County.
A concrete example of the event's impact is given in the information that was published earlier: the ride held the previous year had resulted in over $20,000 in grants being awarded to 10 local nonprofit organizations during Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
This contribution is therefore a reason why an annual ride should continue to receive support from the community, since registration, donations, sponsorship, and volunteer time all become part of a shared effort which goes beyond the event itself.
For sponsors it is important to realise that purpose counts. The event is the public gathering and there are organisations whose work goes on all during the year. One way of supporting these organisations is to help with the occasion.
The Expose Excellence Youth Foundation’s Role
The Expose Excellence Youth Foundation supports its Expose Excellence youth programs and offers people and businesses the chance to make donations, offer their time, and provide various resources. Part of its activities involves working with schools, community leaders, and nonprofit organizations in order to help increase educational opportunities for young people.
The related Fort Bend County Expose Excellence Youth Program serves eligible students ages 10–17. Through educational activities, hands-on experiences, and connections with mentors, the program helps young people develop leadership and life skills, explore interests, and build confidence.
The work provides some context regarding the event's support for young local people and shows how a community fundraiser can expose individuals to programmes which they might not otherwise have come across while at the same time giving them an accessible means of getting involved.
For Leoguar, becoming aware of the organisations behind the ride strengthens the link between our sponsorship and the people for whom it is meant to benefit.
Returning to Ride for a Cause
Following its support of the Bike Ride for Survivors in 2025, Leoguar made a return in 2026 to stand with the Fort Bend community in support of survivors and local youth.
The event unites a number of local organisations, volunteers, families and businesses around a cause which merits continued attention. Our team decided to attend once more in order to remain involved and to give our support to those people who work so hard to make each year's ride possible.
We can make a useful contribution through cycling by sponsoring electric bikes, thus linking our experience as a bike manufacturer with the community initiative that we are happy to back for another year.
Why Electric Bikes for a Community Ride?
Electric bikes allow riders to control the amount of assistance they get through adjustable pedal aid, which is a helpful feature at an event that attracts people with various levels of cycling experience and fitness. While cycling, riders can select the level of motor support they wish to use.
Comfort and the way the frame is designed are also important; step-through access can make it easier to get on and off the bike, and an upright riding position might be suitable for people who prefer a more relaxed posture. Another practical advantage of a folding design is that it helps when a bike is being taken to and from an event.
These features meet the various needs of the cycling community and also provide a explanation for the range of models that are part of Leoguar’s sponsorship this year.

The Leoguar E-Bikes Behind Our Support
Leoguar provided sponsorship for the 2026 model of the Sprint, Fastron ST, Fastron SO, and Flippo, the four models combining everyday utility with two different fat-tire frame styles and a folding feature.
| Sponsored Model | Rated Motor Power | Battery Capacity | Key Design Feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sprint | 350W | 614Wh | Versatile 3-in-1 rear mount for cargo, kids, or gear; 20 × 3.0-inch tires |
| Fastron ST | 750W | 720Wh | Step-through frame with 26 × 4.0-inch tires |
| Fastron SO | 750W | 720Wh | Step-over frame with 26 × 4.0-inch tires |
| Flippo | 350W | 480Wh | Folding frame with torque-sensing pedal assistance |
We were happy to include electric cycling in this year's event, an occasion aimed at supporting survivors and young people in Fort Bend County.
Moving Forward with the Fort Bend Community
We would like to express our appreciation to the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, the Expose Excellence Youth Foundation, and all those who donated their time and resources to the 2026 Bike Ride for Survivors.
To coordinate an event involving several cycling routes and family activities it is necessary to put in continuous effort, and the organisers, the law enforcement staff, the volunteers and the community partners all helped to make participation possible.
We should also mention the riders and their families who decided to spend some of their weekend helping the cause, since it is their participation that enables a community fundraising event to have a wide reach.
Leoguar is happy to be taking on the role of sponsor in 2026 and to lend its support to another year of this Fort Bend tradition. If you would like to find out more about the initiative, you can go to the official Bike Ride for Survivors website. Details regarding local youth enrichment opportunities can be obtained via the Expose Excellence Youth Program.
